I started by family search back in 2003, and it has been a great journey so far.
It began when I found an old birth certificate for my grandmother, and when I looked at the date of birth she would have been over 100 years old had she still been alive today. It then struck me, I had never met this lady. What was she like? What had she done in her life? I wanted to know more…. and that was it, I was hooked and my journey had begun.
I have now decided to keep a blog of things I find, places I visit and new people I meet, plus all the things that I have found, places I have visited and people I have already met.
Follow me on my journey, I know there are many distant cousins out there yet to be found, and one great tool to help with these discoveries is DNA matches, so the search continues.
